thank you so so much for all your sweet comments. each and every one of them really warmed my heart. thank you. these details conclude my epic wedding posts. our wedding was featured on style me pretty. there you’ll find the photographer’s top picks and my description of the day.

the dudes wore striped socks
my sister and cousin bought their matching shoes at t.j.maxx/marshalls a day or so before the wedding
I wore a vintage brooch from the 30′s to add a little bling to my belt.
hooray for doily bunting, this worked out quite well considering we got married on the porch
we used our engagement photos as a coffee table book/sign in book.
the flowers from our welcome party were still fresh so we used them again for the wedding
our guests left with honey. we wrapped them in vintage fabric and tied them with twine.
we used a vintage suitcase for cards and had photos of our parents who’ve both been married for 40 years and our grandparents who were with us in spirit.
i went for a very wild flower kind of look for the tables.
we hung up a dock ladder and a vintage ladder and strung vintage tags with table numbers
for dessert we had blueberry pie, strawberry pie, red velvet cake with vanilla butter cream, lemon curd cake with lemon frosting, vanilla bean cake with pomegranate, pistachio cake with chocolate ganache and a dozen gluten free cupcakes
a major source of inspiration for our wedding came from the wedding of victoria & fritz and veronika of tick tock vintage. this wedding just pulls at my heart strings every time. i am so grateful to all my friends and family who pitched in with all the logistics large and small. i could not have asked for a more perfect four days. happy weekend people!

I loved reading the feature on Style Me Pretty, and I completely agree with what they said abut the rain embracing the ceremony (a shame about the birch tree, but it turned out wonderfully anyway).

Your wedding was so incredibly beautiful and personal. Thank you for sharing. I loved your idea of having your engagement photos made into a coffee table/guest book. Great idea!
What a lovely wedding you had, I am actually getting ready to tie the knot this summer with my man, I am so stressed about the preparations, I want to make it small and intimate. Thank you for sharing
