Forest Park

i’ve spent most of my life aside from my time at university in nyc. i’ve run into many celebrities. nicholas cage, steve buscemi and maggie gyllenhaal twice at two different restaurants i frequent in brooklyn (to name a few). i just let these folks be and respect their privacy, because i know that’s what they want, however i was really glad that wes anderson was so amiable and made himself available to meet and greet. he was questioned about his upcoming film and didn’t even put in a plug, he was quite aloof about it. i do not have a list of famous people that i would like to meet, but i have to say that in my brief interaction with wes, his energy comes forth in his work. since i’ve been gushing over wes anderson for the last few days, for good measure i’ve included my lovely husband in this post since he took me on such a lovely date. also forest park is just twenty minutes from my home and unlike prospect park which is five minutes away this one is more secluded. i’ve passed it so many times on my drive in to queens when i use to work there and i’m so glad that i finally gave it a go. it even has bridle paths for horseback riding. i wore this outfit twice, couldn’t get enough of it. i knew i wanted to wear some sort of mustard since there’s so much yellow and orange in his films and it gave me an excuse to wear this lovely hat again.
